President: Rachel Thomason
Rachel is a Certified Professional Resume Writer and Global Career Development Facilitator. She has worked with clients over the past six years to help them find employment. A graduate of Western Kentucky University whose career started in Human Resources and moved into training. Rachel is a Curriculum Developer for the State of Tennessee – TennCare. She has her own resume and HR consulting business and also writes a Career Tips blog. Rachel is passionate about helping others become the best version of themselves.
Past-President, Communications Committee Chair: Erin Bennett
Erin is Career Counselor at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where she primarily works with freshman and sophomore exploratory students. Erin guides students choosing and changing majors through individual counseling sessions and assessment interpretation. She teaches a First-Year Studies and Exploring Majors and Careers class, in addition to leading and coordinating career-related workshops and programs. Erin also serves as the University of Tennessee Clifton Strengths for Students Campus Team Lead. Erin received her M.S./Ed.S in Career Counseling from Florida State University and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is proud to be one of the founding members of the Tennessee Career Development Association.
Secretary: Anna Lora Taylor
Anna Lora Taylor is a Program Officer for the Women’s Fund of East Tennessee where she oversees the organization’s networking building and grant making, research, and advocacy focused on educational access. She earned a doctoral degree in counselor education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a master’s degree in counseling from Austin Peay State University. Anna Lora’s experience in
career development includes work with the PIPES: Possibilities in Post-Secondary Education & Science program, a university career center, and a college counseling center.
Regional Chair East Tennessee: Melissa Reynolds
Melissa is the Assistant Director of WIA Services at Walters State Community College.
Stephanie is the Employment Specialist for Amerigroup working with the new Employment and Community First CHOICES program, where she develops and implements the employment strategy and acts as a subject matter expert on employment. She has over 18 years’ experience and has spearheaded many collaborations across TN to promote competitive, integrated and customized employment for people with disabilities. She directed employment departments for providers and worked within the Workforce Development system to ensure access for people with disabilities in the American Job Centers. Her passion is working with transition aged youth and she helped develop three Project SEARCH sites and a Seamless Transition Project here in Tennessee.

Melinda is the Associate Professor for Educational & Psychology Counseling at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Amanda is the Bearden High School Counselor in Knoxville, TN.
Windie Wilson is the Director of Workforce Connections and the local Workforce Development Board in Knoxville, TN. She has been developing and administering career related services and programs in the workforce development arena for more than two decades. Windie is one of the founding members and former president of the Tennessee Career Development Association. She is former chair of the Career Development Facilitator Advisory Council for the National Career Development Association and also serves as part of NCDA’s state leadership committee. Windie is a Marano Fellow of Aspen Institute’s Sector Skills Academy.
